We work on these cases after our normal work hours, when we are not caring for our own families, and often in lieu of more “relaxing” activities. Our volunteers do this work because we have a passion for saving at-risk animals. Bringing these animals to safety often requires extraordinary patience, specialized strategy, skill and equipment, as well as time and resources. Typically, these animals cannot easily be leashed, picked up or captured through ordinary means.
